Wrens Fire Department Training Opportunities

 The department conducts in-house firefighter training programs designed to prepare members for state certification requirements, covering essential skills such as fire suppression, emergency operations, safety, and apparatus operations.

The department offers CPR training by appointment only through an in-house certified CPR instructor. These classes are designed to provide participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to respond during a cardiac emergency, including adult, child, and infant CPR, proper AED use, and basic life-saving techniques. Training is available for community members and businesses. 

Wrens Fire Department offers fire extinguisher training by appointment only for community members and local businesses. This class provides instruction on the proper selection, operation, and use of fire extinguishers, along with basic fire safety practices and prevention tips. The goal is to help participants feel prepared to safely respond during the early stages of a fire emergency.
